Well, ladies and gents, are your most stunning outfits pressed and ready for the Red Carpet? It’s almost Absolut Sexy time! I’m going to be performing my very first singing act.
You heard it here first: I’m singing “Alison” by Elvis Costello! It’s a completely new dream pop arrangement by Chicago composer Michael Kunc. Mike doesn’t have a website yet (because I’m still working on it — hee hee!), but if you’re interested in some shameless crossover promotion, you can hear the album we worked on together here on Facebook.
If you need more Apple to satisfy your cravings, then come out the following weekend for Salon deVine at Joie deVine! It’s my first time performing with Girlie Q and I couldn’t be more excited. A little singing, a little dancing, a whole lot of sexy!! Not to mention a great wine selection and some killer cocktails. Be there!

I spent most of Pride Day asleep; I’ve been feeling a little under the weather since yesterday afternoon, and then hanging out the Queer Prom took a lot out of me!
Had a blast last night. Much love to Bizarre Sally, Cruel Valentine, Siren Jinx, Jolie the Belly Dancer, Coo D’Twat, Viva La Muerte, and everyone at Girlie-Q. Fun show!!

Captain EO (yeah, I so went there) aside, just reporting a couple things on the horizon. You may have seen on the shows page that I’m gonna be performing at the late set of July’s Broadzilla at Exit. (But just because I won’t be there doesn’t mean you shouldn’t hit up tonight’s show at Exit as well! I’ve heard rumors that it’s gonna be a Thriiiilller, Thriller night…)
Anywho, come see me July 31st @ 1am. I’ll be debuting a new act at that show – you really shouldn’t miss it. In fact, I have dropped a hint as to what the new act is about in this post… You just have to find it! ;)
And sometime in July, I’ll be participating in bcj photography’s All That Glitters project! Yay!
On the non-performing front, I’m going to see the Girlie-Q Queer Prom on Saturday, and I’m so geeked! Just started reading MsBeaHaven’s blog this week, and I love it!

Hi guys. Thanks to everyone who came out to the Blue Bayou shows, and everyone I got to meet or talk to online as a result! April, Ian, Siren Jinx, Brian of bcj photography and Alex Zander (rad blog shoutout, btw! Thanks!)! Hope I’m not forgetting anyone! And thanks to my new FB fans! TELL YOUR FRIENDS! :)
No gigs on the horizon presently, but I think that’s actually a good thing (at least, in the short term). I have been super busy in my personal life, and I am working through details – props, costumes – for upcoming acts. Plus I need to take some new photos and get some business cards made up… Ahh, so much to think about!
Lastly, expect some changes coming to the site soon… Gonna add a bottom bar with links to everything – FB, Myspace, Twitter – all those social networking things the youngsters use!

Well, the design is up! All it needs now is some photos of little ol’ me to fill that gaping hole on the left side of the screen. ;) (Updated! That’s me over there!) Also, the inner pages need some work. But enough nerdy talk. On to boobies!
I had a FABULOUS time making my burlesque debut at Broadzilla @ Exit this past Friday. Everyone from Vaudezilla was super supportive and just obscenely nice – and I mean that in the most literal sense! What’s better than a little boob grabbin’ between pals?! Hee hee.
I’m gonna be doing it again at Brando’s on May 12th, and then hopefully I’ll be debuting a new act at next month’s Broadzilla. I promise to keep you posted.
